Robert James

Robert James, a native of Los Angeles, gained his experience amidst the high profile glamour of Beverly Hills.  During his years at Vidal Sassoon, he imagined many an iconic hair color for actresses and songstresses including Gwen Stefani, Alyssa Milano and Kelly Osbourne.

Throughout his years of work in the industry, Robert James has always marveled at the emphasis placed on "the cut" and dreamed of a salon that focuses primarily on superior hair color.  In November of 2007, Robert launched his brainchild, Robert James Color, an intimate boutique color studio in downtown San Francisco. 

The 600-square-foot hair coloring mecca offers the most highly specialized hair color service in the city, and one of the most comprehensive menus of color-specific options in the country from baliage and lowlights to refined processing techniques and all-natural extensions.  Robert's large client base stays loyal due to his unswerving attention to detail and his keen talent at discerning the hair shade that best compliments each client's skin, hair, eyes, and, most importantly, personal style.
